Running this division is Carlos Avila, a tile industry veteran with nearly 20 years’ experience representing factories such as Italgres, and Panaria Ceramica.

As the Vice President of Commercial Sales and General Manager for Porcelain Concepts, LLC, Carlos will initially focus on markets in Florida and the Southeast which can be readily served by our distribution center in Fort Myers, Florida.

Porcelain Concepts’ goal is to make this product line more accessible for builders, dealers, and A&D (Architect & Designer) channels by importing, warehousing, and distributing high-quality GPTP in job-lot quantities from some of the most reputable factories in Italy and Spain.

Porcelain Concepts takes the strong relationships developed with manufacturers around the world, deep product expertise, and a strong reputation for sourcing high-quality products and materials into a new direction we think you’ll appreciate.

In addition to stocking 3.5mm-6mm thin panels, Porcelain Concepts will also be able to fulfill orders for 10-20mm porcelain slabs, matching 2cm pavers, and tiles from 12”x24” to 48”x48”.

Carlos is a seasoned tile industry professional with experience at Italgres and Panaria Group, two important Gauged Porcelain Panel/Slab manufacturing resources.

He spent nine years at Italgres, learning how to work with the construction community, from property owners to architects and designers, builders, and flooring contractors. He prides himself on understanding and managing the expectations of every player. Although each has the same goal - to buy/build/design/install beautiful tiles on beautiful projects -each has different expectations. 

Eight years with Panaria Group allowed Carlos to learn about different business models for porcelain tile distributors and the key elements of success.

When Carlos isn't concentrating on Porcelain Concepts, he will either be with his family, watching futból, or preparing for a next competitive event with the Triathlon Community of Central Florida.
